What’s on 2026
Ladies & Gentlemen, start your engines! We’re back on the road again and this time we’re heading for Rio on a Jungle Safari themed weekend. Celebrating two massive milestones - 80 years of the world’s most iconic vehicles built by Volkswagen and 10 years at Birches Farm.
BVF 33 promises to be an action packed weekend full of cool cars, camping, music and entertainment in true Bristol Volksfest fashion.
The theme is ‘Jungle Safari’. Bundles of Jungle fun to be had with this one. Lots of animal prints, bright colours, ancient explorers, animals...Dinosaurs! - wherever the Jungle vibes take you, mixed with Mardi Gras / Rio style carnival festivities.
On Saturday the Carnival is back in town. The last two years of the Volksfest Carnival has been magical. And 2026 will be no exception; with Rio Carnival spirit, fancy dress with head bopping beats and bouncing bootys brought by the brilliant Bristol Samba Band. Enter the 'Build a Float' competition. Not only will you become BVF famous, adored by all the carnival and crowd you could win some big prizes too.
On Saturday we're also looking for some Jungle Vibe Rides!
Bugs, Buses and other VW's that have been set up for exploring, going off the beaten track, taking on extreme conditions. Or maybe they just look like they've been left in the Jungle and recently discovered.
We can’t wait to see you all for round 33.
music
As always we have an eclectic mix of bands and DJs ready to rock you through the weekend. Rock, Blues, Metal, Folk, Drum & Bass, 90’s Rave - whatever your flame is we have a little something for everyone. You’ll find the bands on the main stage and DJs in the Bunker. There are also two other areas to sit back, relax and listen with friends or get up and jump around!
The Road House is an Acoustic Area with straw bales for sitting and BBQ food for eating! The Tiki Cocktail bar and Main bar offer jump up party vibes for those that want to Rock all day and Party every night.

Food
A selection of excellent local and independent foodies serving up flavours from all over the world to get your taste buds tingling. From BBQ to Burgers, Nepalese to Neapolitan pizza - we have all the good stuff heading your way.
Entertainment
Bringing you another action packed festival weekend. In addition to all the amazing bugs and buses on display we have a host of awesome and exhilarating family entertainment and Brizzleness.
The fancy dress theme this year is Jungle Safari.
