BVF CARNIVAL 2026
Be part of the Jungle Safari Carnival.
We love the momentum the carnival is building at Volksfest. Albeit a bit soggy, the Fiesta Mexican-ival in 2025 was fantastic. The fancy dress, the floats, the mexican hats, the drums…the tequila!!! You couldn’t have timed the storm any better!
Last year it was big, but this year will be massive! As always, at BVF it's non stop; and the celebrations threaten to start even earlier than usual!!
Come and get into the Carnival spirit at Korner Park from 16:30. Be ready to shake your booty, spangle your sparkles & sequins and down our special jungle juice… we’ll be cranking it up to 11 with party games and lots of silliness!
Unsure of what to wear? Think Jungle Safari, Animal Prints, Dinosaurs and Rio Carnival of course!
For bigger groups build your own carnival float, show it off and join the amazing Carnival Parade led away by the Bristol Samba Band. This is an unmissable spectacle - the colour, sound and action is not to be missed.
FYI - The main Carnival Day is on Saturday.
Get into the Carnival spirit. Dress up, make some noise and dance with us. Feathers, flowers, sequins and bright bold colours.

Outlines of the competition:
The competition is open to anyone that attends. Adults & Kids.
Each float is to either be carried or pulled in groups of at least two or four people.
The carnival procession will be on Saturday 13th June.
Your float must have some kind of VW reference.
Prizes are only available to those that bring the float to Volksfest and enter the Carnival procession on Saturday.
